|Description||If you've ever wondered what goes into creating a museum exhibition then now's your chance to find out when Mark Lach, the designer of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition presents "From Wreck Site to Exhibition—My Creative Journey" at the Mayborn on September 13 at 2:00pm. Lach, who has been to the wreck site, will discuss his perspective of the wreck site and his creative thoughts on how he brings alive passenger stories and artifacts inside each exhibition location.|
Lach, who is the vice president of special projects and creative director of Premier Exhibitions, is acclaimed for his innovative design expertise and unique approach to the in-depth research he applies to the development and design of the exhibitions during the creative process. During the development of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Lach conducted a dive to the wreck site of Titanic 2.5 miles beneath the
ocean surface in a manned submersible, allowing him the rare opportunity to experience the majesty and tragedy firsthand, which became an integral component in the overall design of the exhibitions.
Admittance to the presentation is included with general admission. Museum members and Baylor
University students receive free general admission. General admission does not include admission to Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. See our website for detailed admission information.
