DescriptionMotivational Interviewing (MI) is a counseling approach that helps guide individuals from
ambivalence towards decision and active change. Many professionals have opportunities to implement
MI in their practice and daily lives, including social workers, counselors, correctional workers, law enforcement authorities, educators, and church leaders. W. C. “Dub” Wright, LPCS, is a member of the Motivational Interviewers International Network of Trainers (MINT) and has facilitated MI trainings since 1993. With DubWright, you will begin to learn how to guide collaborative and goal
-oriented conversations. Lunch at campus dining facility is included in the cost of the course. Students attending 100% of class will receive a Motivational Interviewing Certificate of Com
pletion of Basic MI Training from a MINT member. CEUs for social workers and LPCs, including one ethics CEU, are available upon completion of the course and after payment of an extra $10 fee. Please note: Baylor Continuing Education will provide the third registration free to any organization that purchases two registrations
in Motivational Interviewing. To take advantage of this offer, please call our office at (254)710-6440 to complete all three registrations at once.
