DescriptionYou can learn to engage difficult conversations and relationships with the confidence and intention to cultivate restored relationships. Cheryl Miller, a Credentialed Advanced Mediator (CAM), developed the Language of Shalom to be a unique structured communication derived from her work in Christian community development, restorative justice, and mediation principles. During this three-day training, you will learn how to effectively promote reconciliation and restoration that can build healthier neighborhoods, churches, and workplaces. Participants will learn about various justice models, mediation principles, and the continuum of transformation. In this interactive training, participates learn and practice proven techniques and skills from a variety of facilitated dialogue methods. A copy of Language of Shalom and a tool-kit is included in the cost of registration. CEUs for LMSWs and LPCs are available upon completion of the course and after payment of an extra $10 fee. Please register by April 13.
