DescriptionCelebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about the history and culture of Hispanic Wacoans! Louis Garcia, Chairman of the Waco Hispanic Museum, will start this class with the roots of the Mexican peoples and explore the arrival of foreigners in our area in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, the impact of Mexican independence, the creation of borders in the twentieth century, and Hispanics today. The final session on Oct 12 will meet at the Waco Hispanic Museum (2815 Speight Ave) for an exclusive guided tour!
