DescriptionThe Allbritton Art Institute is pleased to announce that we will host internationally recognized artist Frank Stella and critically-acclaimed art critic Jason Kaufman for our Allbritton Art Institute Biennial Artist Conversation on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center. Jason Kaufman will interview Frank Stella about his life, art, career and work. This interview follows the October 30th opening of Frank Stella: A Retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art, which will be the most comprehensive career retrospective of his work and the museum’s first retrospective for a living artist. There will be a question and answer session following the interview. We hope you will join us for Mr. Stella’s first visit to the Baylor University and Waco communities. This event is free and open to the public. Seating will be limited. A buffet reception will follow.

The Allbritton Art Institute, a Texas Non-Profit Corporation and affiliate of Baylor University, was established on October 31, 1997 by Joe and Barbara Allbritton to promote the appreciation and comprehensive study of the artist and art movements of the 19th- and 20th- centuries. The Allbritton Art Institute has been offering classes on the Baylor University campus since the fall of 1998.
