Bouncing Photons off Squeezed Materials
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Discover how we use a diamond anvil cell to create pressures close to that of the interior of the earth and what we learn when we change the colors and properties of materials.
Meera Chandrasekhar Ph.D., is a Curators’ Teaching Professor of Physics at the University of Missouri. She is the 2014-15 Robert Foster Cherry Professor at Baylor University.

Lectures are free and open to the public; however, admission to the museum is not included.
