| Description | A celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the writing of our nation's anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner," by Francis Scott Key. The event will feature a brief historical reflection on the events surrounding the writing of the anthem by Dr. David Smith, senior lecturer in the Department of History, a performance of the hymn by School of Music master's candidate Kaitlyn Stobbe, and light refreshments. All are welcome! |
