DescriptionPlease join the Department of Modern Foreign Languages on Thursday September 6th in 102 Morrison Hall at 3pm for a presentation by distinguished Professor of French, Dr. Perry Gethner, from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Gethner’s anthologies of plays written by early modern French female playwrights are known throughout the academic community both nationally and internationally. His talk, entitled « Early Modern Female Playwrights and the struggle for center stage » will be sure to interest students and faculty interested in women’s studies, French theater, or the early modern historical period in France. There will be a reception immediately following in the Sendón Room in 109 Old Main.
