Beall Poetry Festival

DescriptionBaylor University's 18th annual Beall Poetry Festival is a three-day celebration of some of the finest of contemporary poets, with readings, a panel discussion and the Virginia Beall Ball Lecture on Contemporary Poetry.

The 2012 Festival events include: Student Literary Awards (March 28, 3:30 p.m., 101 Carroll Science); a poetry reading by A.E. Stallings (March 28, 7 p.m., Kayser Auditorium); Jay Parini delivering the Virginia Beall Ball Lecture in Contemporary Poetry (March 29, 3:30 p.m., Kayser Auditorium); a poetry reading by Stephen Dunn (March 29, 7 p.m., Kayser Auditorium); a panel discussion with participants (March 30, 3:30 p.m., 101 Carroll Science); and a poetry reading by Michael Longley (March 30, 7 p.m., Kayser Auditorium).
