DescriptionConductor-in-Residence Stephen Heyde leads string players of the Baylor Symphony Orchestra in performances of works by Johann Sebastian Bach (Brandenburg Concerto No. 3), Anthony Plog (Nocturne for Tuba and Strings), Thomas Canning (Fantasy on a Theme of Justin Morgan), John Williams (Air and Simple Gifts), and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (third and fourth movements from Serenade for Strings). Soloist in the Plog piece will be Baylor's Assistant Professor of Tuba Kent Eshelman. This concert is free of charge and open to the public.
