Description | The Allbritton Art Institute will host Nicole R. Myers, Interim Chief Curator and The Barbara Thomas Lemmon Senior Curator of European Art at the Dallas Museum of Art for the Allbritton Art Institute Art Lecture on Thursday, March 31st at 5:30 p.m. in Kayser Auditorium in Hankamer Academic Center. Dr. Myer's will present her work and ground-breaking findings on world-renown artist, Vincent van Gogh's olive grove series. She co-curated the premiere exhibition, "Van Gogh and the Olive Groves" and will talk about the exhibition that explores the series of olive grove paintings that were created in the final years of Van Gogh's Life. We hope you will join us for a wonderful evening with Dr. Myers. Hankamer Academic Center is located at 1420 S. 5th Street Waco, TX 76706. This event is free and open to the public. The lecture will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Kayser Auditorium. A reception will follow. |
