Towards a future in quantum technology

Quantum communication, quantum computing, and quantum microscopy are the new emerging fields. Interesting and remarkable discoveries are being made. In this talk I shall discuss some of these developments. I shall also share my experience of teaching quantum mechanics and the amazing application at the freshman level to students just out of high school. As an example, I shall discuss a recent work of my group on developing a highly counterintuitive protocol of exchanging information between the two parties without any physics particles traveling between them.
