University Women's Council of Atlanta at Mary Mac's Tea Room for a Lunch and
Learn with a special guest professor, Mona Choucair, Ph.D., and Virginia Ellis, the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement. Just in time for Valentine's Day, Dr. Choucair will teach our guests how to read love poetry. Cost: $30.

Dr. Mona Choucair's teaching interests are in American literature with an emphasis on contemporary women writers. She enjoys a dual teaching appointment in the School of Education, where she supervises secondary teaching interns, and the College of Arts & Sciences in the English Department. Currently, Dr. Choucair is working on a guidebook for educators on teaching Toni Morrison's novels at the secondary school level.
