DescriptionWhen Ren McCormack, a teenager from Chicago who loves dancing, and his single mother move to the small town of Bomont both he and the town are faced with a clash of cultures. Upon arriving, Ren finds himself at odds with the influential Reverend Moore, who has issued a ban on dancing.
In this iconic story, made famous by the 1984 movie of the same title, generations collide and a community is forced to reevaluate its ideals, seek healing, and ask what it means to be truly free.
