ISSS: Baylor Homecoming Parade
Date | October 16, 2021 |
Time | 6:00 - 9:00 am |
Location | Downtown Waco |
Description | The Baylor Homecoming Parade is one of the university's oldest traditions (and possibly the oldest homecoming parade in the USA!). Each year, Baylor's international student population is given a place of honor by marching just behind the Baylor marching band at the front of the parade while carrying the flags of all the countries of students represented at Baylor. Join us in this time-honored tradition and prepare to have fun as the entire Baylor family comes out to watch the parade and cheer for you! As a parade participant, you are encouraged to wear Baylor clothing, or any traditional attire from your country you would like to celebrate. We will be meeting early outside the International Flags Lobby (Jones Student Commons) and walking over to the parade starting location downtown from there. International Students & Scholars can register to attend this event by completing the "Homecoming Parade" request in their Global Bears account. |
