| Description | Biblical diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work is rooted in the scripture, but it rarely comes with a playbook for the ins and outs of its impact in our institutions. Believing that the Imago Dei is foundational to our work, ministry and the overall mission of Christian schools, we hope to develop communities where all belong. If you have 3+ years of experience in DEI work and you are tasked by your institution with this focus, join us every other month of the school year for a deep dive into specific topics that affect our jobs and institutions covering the 3 main areas: attraction, training, and retention. Guest speakers will periodically be invited to join the discussion based on their expertise. Our time together will lead up to the Christian Educators Diversity Symposium hosted by Baylor University, June 8th-10th, 2022. |
