| Description | Buckle your boots, step back in time, and discover what life was like in an 1890s Central Texas riverfront cotton community at the Mayborn’s Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village! As we take a look at each building in the community, we’ll learn about skills and crafts that were essential for daily living over 125 years ago and how they compare to our lives today. We’ll consider cash crops like cotton and corn as we pick, grind, pump, scrub and cipher our way through the last decade of the 19th century.
