The Complete Lawyer: Service and Significance
Date | July 1, 2021 |
Time | 4:00 - 5:00 pm |
Location | Zoom/Canvas |
Description | The study of leadership helps develop lawyers who are complete in the traditional sense. They are technically competent in the practice of law, wise counselors in helping clients navigate challenging decisions, and effective leaders in the courtroom, the boardroom, and their communities. From law school through practice, complete lawyers hone the skills needed for each of these roles while incorporating lawyers' ethical duties and professional obligations to society. These "complete lawyers" will share their experiences about pursuing a life of service and significance through serving their clients, their communities, and helping close the access to justice gap. Presenters: Judge Lora Livingston, 261st Civil District Court, Travis County Betty Balli Torres, Executive Director, Texas Access to Justice Foundation |
