| Description | Baylor University's Early Music Ensembles, directed by Jann Cosart, present "¡Vámanos a Chacona!: Music to Celebrate Spring Time." This is a mini-concert of early music, featuring black and women’s traditions. Included in the program are La Moresca traditions of the Renaissance Lowlands, Courtly and Country Dances of Ignatius Sancho, Women’s Songs of Courtly love: Comtessa del Dia Criollo, and Chacona tunes from the Old and New Worlds. This outdoor concert is open to the public, with strict observance of all safety protocols. |
