Streams, creeks, rivers, whatever you want to call them, are a full of life! But like all life, it requires food to flourish. In this talk, I'll describe how dead leaves that fall from trees every autumn make their way into streams where they support all kinds of life, including bugs, fish, land-living animals, and even our own.
