| Description | Baylor Opera Theater presents Franz Joseph Haydn's "La canterina"(The Songstress), a short opera buffa from 1766 by Franz Joseph Haydn. This is the first opera that the great Austrian master wrote for Prince Nikolaus Esterházy. Performers are Amy Pressman (Gasparina), Tevae Shoels (Don Pelagio), Sophie Strobel (Apollonia), and David Estrada (Don Ettore). Baylor Opera Theater is directed by Dr. Jen Stephenson.
