| Description | The 2020 Pruit Symposium proudly features multi-Grammy Award winning vocalist and professor of music at Middle Tennessee State University, Dr. Cedric Dent. Dent performed with the a capella gospel and jazz group Take 6 until 2011, earning multiple Grammy Awards in gospel and jazz and several Dove awards. During this afternoon session, Dent will compare and contrast Take 6's performance of "David and Goliath" with an earlier version of the song performed by the Jubilee Four. |
