| Description | The Department of History presents its 41st Charles Edmondson Historical Lecture series, featuring Dr. R. Marie Griffith, Washington University, St. Louis. Dr. Griffith will be speaking on "The Culture Wars in the Early 20th Century: Suffrage, Birth Control, and Censorship" for the first lecture on Monday, Sept. 17, at 3:30pm. The second lecture will be on "The Culture Wars in the Later 20th Century: Marriage, Sex Education, and the Long Road to #MeToo" on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 3:30pm. Both lectures are free and open to the public and will be held in Kayser Auditorium, Hankamer 101. |
