Baylor Theatre presents Anna Karenina
Date | February 6-11, 2018 |
Location | Mabee Theatre in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Buildings |
Description | Baylor University Theatre continues its 2017-2018 season with the play Anna Karenina, running February 6-11 in the Mabee Theatre at Baylor University. Director Josh Horowitz says: "Tolstoy's epic novel Anna Karenina is beautifully adapted for the stage by playwright Helen Edmundson. A story which questions love and duty, the play puts Anna together with another of the novel's characters, Konstantin Levin, who tries to find happiness in a world where true love often leads to downfall." Anna Karenina will run February 6-10 at 7:30 pm each night, with matinee shows on February 10 & 11 at 2:00 pm. The play will be presented in the Mabee Theatre of the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center. Tickets for Anna Karenina are on sale now, priced at $20 for the public or $17 with a valid Baylor ID. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for a group discount through the box office.
