Description | The 2017 keynote speaker for the endowed Laura B. Jackson Lectureship in World Issues will be George Walden, a British journalist and former diplomat, who also served as Minister for Higher Education under Margaret Thatcher from 1985-87. His areas of expertise are British politics, Russia, and China. The lecture from 7:00-8:15 p.m. will include a question-and-answer period, to be followed by a reception from 8:15-9:30 p.m. for all attendees. |
