DescriptionGrowing ZnSe/Si Bi-coaxial Nanowire Heterostructure Via a One Step Evaporation Method One step evaporation method for growing ZnSe/Si Bi-coaxial nanowire heterostructure is introduced in this paper, which results in bi-coaxial nanowires with typical diameter of 80-100nm. The products were characterized by XRD, TEM and SAED. The analysis of those patterns would be described in the slide. Also, a possible growth mechanism of ZnSe/Si bi-coaxial nanowire would be explained. Besides, a similar growth mechanism which is known as Vapor-liquid-Solid mechanism would be introduced in the slide. That mechanism could also be used to growth nanowires of some other materials like CdTe, which is a promoting materials in optoelectronic fields. New Boson Mass and Spin-Parity Measurements at CMS In July 2012 CMS announced the discovery of a new particle in the mass region around 126 GeV. This particle is consistent with the Higgs boson but it will take further work to determine whether or not it is the Higgs boson predicted by the Standard Model(SM). I will talk on the first study of the spin-parity of the newly discovered boson. The SM spinCparity Jp = 0+ hypothesis is confronted with alternative models using the kinematic properties of the Higgs boson decays into ZZ channel (HZZ*4l). The analysis uses data collected by the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to integrated luminosity of 17.3 fb-1 at s = 7 and 8 TeV.
