DescriptionCalling all museum members! We need your help testing out our new exhibit!
Inspired by Central Texas stories, Baylor research, and natural phenomena, this exciting collection of hands-on experiences will encourage individual discovery and an appreciation for the natural world.
The new Backyard Ecology Hall is comprised of four rooms (Amazing Abilities, Forms with a Purpose, Brazos River Gallery, and Living Together). Each room includes live animals that tell a story about local ecology and traditional museum collection objects while also providing ample creative play experiences for children and families. Visitors can measure their strength against a boa constrictor, learn about the Brazos River through an interactive water table, and experience life as a bee by climbing into a honeycomb.
