|Description||Presented by Professor Matt Cordon
Technology allows a lawyer with a smaller practice to provide legal services more efficiently, effectively, and in a manner that can compete with larger firms. Effective use of technology can allow smaller practices to keep overhead low and to run lean. Firms no longer acquire large law libraries for legal research needs, and many smaller firms can eliminate or significantly reduce reliance on paper by developing a paperless office. With today’s technology, even a technology budget of $1,000 may be sufficient to equip a new office. This session will also cover ethical and confidentiality issues associated with selecting the right technology for your firm.
