|Description||Please join the Department of Art & Art History for a Lecture and Printmaking Demo by Guest Artist and Baylor Art Alum, Humberto Saenz.
Humberto Saenz is an Assistant Professor of Art-Printmaking at UT San Antonio whose artwork is exhibited throughout the United States and internationally in solo, juried, and invitational exhibitions.
His artwork is focused on the current events involving the separation of immigrant families. Particularly he is interested in how the children are affected by this fragmentation. In the artwork children are engaged in a playful but elementary war between their culture, heritage, and the new laws that bind them to their fate.
