Do I Really Need Another Drink?
How much is too much alcohol? Recent research provides conflicting evidence for alcohol’s health effects: Some studies suggest drinking 1-2 drinks per day reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke, while others suggest drinking less. In honor of Alcohol Awareness Month, this talk will discuss the latest research on alcohol and health.
Sara Dolan (Ph.D., Iowa) is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Baylor University.
Join the speaker and guests for coffee and cookies prior to each lecture at 6:30 pm. Science Thursdays lectures are free and open to the public; however, admission to the museum is not included.
