Lecture by Dr. Peter Hotez: Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel's Autism

DescriptionDr. Peter J. Hotez, Dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and University Professor of Biology at Baylor University, will talk about his new book, "Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel's Autism." In the book, Hotez draws on his experiences as a pediatrician, vaccine scientist and father of an autistic child named Rachel. Outlining the arguments on both sides of the vaccination debate, he examines the science that refutes the concerns of the anti-vaccine movement, and shares his very personal story of raising a now-adult daughter with autism. The lecture is free and open to the public. Following his remarks, Dr. Hotez will sign copies of his book.
