DescriptionDialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment useful for sufferers of emotion dysregulation, suicidal thinking, and self-harming behaviors. With Amanda Smith, mental health professionals can learn to adopt and practice a dialectical worldview in daily practice. You will have the opportunity to explore DBT suicide crisis protocols and strategies for implementing levels of validation in DBT. The textbooks (about $100 total) are not included in the course fee.
