As part of the Smithsonian's "Inside Science" program, Dr. Stephen Trumble and Dr. Sascha Usenko will present their research on whale earwax.

Trumble, an Associate Professor of Biology, and Usenko, an Associate Professor of Environmental Science, developed a method to analyze the plugs of wax that build up in whales' ears, yielding information about the animals' movement, development and even exposure to contaminants.
