|Description||Interpreting and applying the science and technology of our daily lives, engineers bring ideas to life and create solutions for the problems we encounter. Engineers are super heroes…without the capes.
Rick Tullis, president of Capstone mechanical, will lead engineers our community in a panel discussion highlighting engineering contributions from the early history of Waco to the recent additions in our beloved hometown.|
Prior to the panel discussion, visitors are invited to enjoy the film, Dream Big: Engineering Our World in our SBC Theater at 2:00 pm. Narrated by Academy Award® winner Jeff Bridges, Dream Big will transform how we think about engineering. From the Great Wall of China and the world’s tallest buildings, to underwater robots, solar cars and smart, sustainable cities, Dream Big celebrates the human ingenuity behind engineering marvels big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people around the world.
Film and panel discussion are included in the price of admission. Museum members and Baylor University students, faculty, and staff receive free admission. Read More »
