DescriptionYou may be waking up to the value and need for diversity in your organization or practice and you want to learn how to create a welcoming environment. In this two-day intensive course with Kerri Fisher, the Dianna R. Garland School of Social Work Diversity Initiative Chair, you will learn to identify, advocate and create anti-oppressive practices at micro, mezzo and macro levels of service using cultural humility, counterintuitive solidarity and strategic planning at the individual and institutional level.
