DescriptionBenjamin Korstvedt, Professor of Music at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, is a noted authority on the music of Joseph Haydn and Anton Bruckner. Dr. Korstvedt's topic for the afternoon lecture will be "Declarations of Disgust: Reflections on an Ideological Dimension of Music Criticism, ca. 1900." This Lyceum Series event, made possible by the Meadows Foundation of Dallas, is free of charge and open to the public.
