On the Jury Trial: How Can You Best Prepare to be a Trial Lawyer?

DescriptionPresented by: Hon. Alan Albright, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas Hon. Craig Smith, 192nd Civil District Court of Dallas County Thomas Melsheimer, Winston & Strawn Judge Craig Smith and Thomas Melsheimer wrote On the Jury Trial, a must have reference for trial lawyers aspiring to excellence or seeking to maintain it. PC and Post-PC students are invited to join Judge Smith, Mr. Melsheimer, and Judge Alan Albright for a conversation about the book, preparing to be a trial lawyer, common trial lawyer mistakes and improvements, and the decline of the jury trial. Qualifies for one hour of professional development credit. Lunch provided. Post-PC students who want lunch must RSVP to Lauren_Porter@baylor.edu before Monday, February 11 at 12:00 p.m. Current PC students do not need to make a reservation to attend but should contact Lauren with any special dietary restrictions.
