|Description||Centering Prayer is a form of Christian meditation that forms us in the kenotic way of Jesus, which is the way of surrender, of letting go. Each Tuesday during the Spring semester, University Chaplain, Burt Burleson will be leading a time of Centering Prayer, which will be followed by a brief discussion of Cynthia Bourgeaults latest book, The Heart of Centering Prayer. Books may be obtained through the Chaplains Office for $10.
This time of prayer and spiritual reflection will begin at 12:00 and end by 12:40 each Tuesday in Elliston Chapel, beginning on February 6th and continuing each Tuesday to April 17th. |
