Clickers (Classroom Response Systems) are increasingly common, especially in large lecture courses. Instructors use clickers to take attendance, administer quizzes and exams, and to test students' knowledge. While there are still things we do not know about what makes clickers effective, we do know there are evidence-supported best practices. This SET will explain and model clicker best practices. Participants will have an opportunity to build questions, receive peer feedback, and walk away with clicker questions you could to use in your next class. Have you thought about using clickers? Have you used clickers for a while? Have you been in a class with clickers and want to learn more? Then this SET is for you! The goal of this SET is to provide the tools and time needed for developing class material, regardless of your experience level with clickers or knowledge of instructional techniques.
