|Description||Join the Baylor University Institute for Oral History (BUIOH) on Tuesday, September 27 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm for its 2018-2019 Faculty Research Fellowship information session.
Each year since 1971 the Institute has sponsored oral history research for Baylor University faculty members. Faculty Research Fellows record oral history interviews with individuals in their specific fields of interest. Fellows use the information gained in interviews to enhance publications on their topics in scholarly articles, papers, and monographs. The recordings and transcripts from their interviews become part of the permanent oral history collection of the university.
This fall, the Institute will accept project proposals from Baylor faculty members for oral histories to be conducted beginning in June of the next fiscal year. Selected fellows will be awarded a stipend of up to $2,500 payable as salary and will also receive training, consultation, equipment use, and transcription services from the Institute.
The application period for the 2018-2019 Fellowship will extend from September 1 through November 17, 2017. For more information, please visit www.baylor.edu/oral history or email Adrienne Cain, Assistant Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.Read More »
