DescriptionPublic Deliberation offers a framework for a different kind of conversation on community issues, one that changes the public discourse and promotes community problem-solving. In this one-session workshop, you will focuson identifying your natural facilitation style and your personal assets as a facilitator, understanding how to guide the discussion without leading it, and navigating potential challenges as a moderator. You will learn how to ask good questions and how to listen and engage forum participants appropriately, and you will have the opportunity to practice facilitating and receive feedback on your facilitation skills.
