Hello from the Baylor University School of Music!
We are grateful for your patience and pleased to announce the exciting opportunity to participate in the virtual 2021 Baylor All-State Choir Camp! Even though strict university-implemented COVID-19 protocols will not allow us to host in-person camps this summer, we have developed what we believe to be a really amazing music learning opportunity. The outstanding music faculty at Baylor will be teaching classes, and we have some exciting breakout sessions that would not otherwise be possible during our in-person camp. This is a great opportunity to learn more about music and music performance, get to know the faculty at Baylor, learn about our university and its traditions, get a virtual tour of our beloved campus, and meet some musicians from all around the state and the nation.
All-State Choir Camp takes place July 6-9. At this time, we are only teaching Large School repertoire. Included in the schedule for the week, you will participate in sectionals, electives, social breakout groups, have access to voice lessons, private concerts, and even a virtual camp talent show! Please see the sample daily schedule below (subject to modification prior to camp).

A few important items of note:
The All-State Choir Camp is pleased to offer a limited number of partial scholarships for students who made a Texas All-State Choir in 2020 or 2021. Please contact All-State Choir Camp director Dr. Stephen Gusukuma at Stephen_Gusukuma@baylor.edu if your student qualifies. Provide their first and last name, the year they made an All-State Choir, and which choir. Please wait to register for camp until you have heard from Dr. Gusukuma, which may take a few days; rest assured, you will have a spot available at camp while you wait.Summer Music Camps are one of the highlights of our year, and we have sincerely missed hosting them! We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with creative offerings during this unique summer.
If you have any questions, please contact Jill Gusukuma at email@example.com.
Thank you, and see you at virtual camp!
