Middle School Choir Camp

***2020 Baylor Camp Update***

We are very sad to have to deliver the news that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have cancelled ALL of the Baylor Summer Music Camps.   These camps are always a highlight of our year, and we will miss not being able to work with your students, however, we would only host these events if we could guarantee the safety of our campers and staff.   Safety is always our first priority each and every year, but especially this year.

Starting on Tuesday, May 12th, we will be going through and canceling each registration.  This will return the FULL AMOUNT that you have paid for the camps to the card that you used for payment.  If you scheduled automatic payments, those will be cancelled as well.

Thank you, campers, staff and parents for being a part of this Baylor tradition. For seniors Class of 2021, we look forward to seeing each of you at our audition days for the School of Music next year.  For everyone else, we can’t wait to see you at the Baylor camps next year!!

Stay safe and keep playing and singing!

And as always, Sic'em Bears!

JULY 12-16, 2020

Grades: entering 7-9 in Fall 2020

Baylor University’s Middle School Choir Camp engages young singers in a unique summer choral experience through a dynamic curriculum to prepare them and train them for success in the coming school year and in open to incoming students grades 7-9. Their motivation for success will be inspired through exciting rehearsals enhanced through advanced training with Baylor’s faculty, recognized master teachers, administrators, and developing music educators.  Our primary goal is for students to have a successful and fun week while also providing stimulating rehearsals and sectionals, culminating in a final performance including both a mixed choral experience as well as a treble and tenor/bass experience.

We will work together to ensure every participating student has an educational opportunity where musicians build confidence and develop good habits to be responsible young adults in their choral programs across the State of Texas.

The Middle School Choir Camp Staff has been assembled and selected for their talent, teaching ability, dedication and enthusiasm for music.  This year, the conductors and teaching staff include:
