Baylor University’s Middle School Choir Camp engages young singers in a unique summer choral experience through a dynamic curriculum to prepare them and train them for success in the coming school year and in open to incoming students grades 7-9. Their motivation for success will be inspired through exciting rehearsals enhanced through advanced training with Baylor’s faculty, recognized master teachers, administrators, and developing music educators. Our primary goal is for students to have a successful and fun week while also providing stimulating rehearsals and sectionals, culminating in a final performance including both a mixed choral experience as well as a treble and tenor/bass experience.
We will work together to ensure every participating student has an educational opportunity where musicians build confidence and develop good habits to be responsible young adults in their choral programs across the State of Texas.
The Middle School Choir Camp Staff has been assembled and selected for their talent, teaching ability, dedication and enthusiasm for music. This year, the conductors and teaching staff include:
COST
The total cost of the five-day camp, including tuition, fees, housing, meals, and music is $455 for residential campers. Commuting students may attend for $355 which includes all activities, tuition, lunch and dinner (breakfast is not included), and music.
ENROLLMENT LIMITED
Enrollment is limited to 275 students and is filled on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. Our Choir Camps in years past have reached capcity in as few as 15 minutes after registration opened!!!!
