***2020 Baylor Camp Update***

We are very sad to have to deliver the news that because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have cancelled ALL of the Baylor Summer Music Camps. These camps are always a highlight of our year, and we will miss not being able to work with your students, however, we would only host these events if we could guarantee the safety of our campers and staff.   Safety is always our first priority each and every year, but especially this year.

Starting on Tuesday, May 12th, we will be going through and canceling each registration.  This will return the FULL AMOUNT that you have paid for the camps to the card that you used for payment.  If you scheduled automatic payments, those will be cancelled as well.

Thank you, campers, staff and parents for being a part of this Baylor tradition. For seniors Class of 2021, we look forward to seeing each of you at our audition days for the School of Music next year.  For everyone else, we can’t wait to see you at the Baylor camps next year!!

Stay safe and keep playing and singing!

And as always, Sic'em Bears!

Welcome to Camp

For over 30 years, the Baylor University Summer Music Camps have provided outstanding summer musical experiences to students from all over the country. Our summer music camps provide students the opportunity to interact with the world-class musicians and music educators including the Baylor School of Music Faculty and some of the best music educators in the state of Texas. Our goal is to provide experiences for musical and personal growth for every student that attends our camps.

The Summer Music Camps allow the students the opportunity to perform in many different musical settings. From large ensembles to chamber music, our camps offer a wide spectrum of musical training. Whether you are an aspiring middle school instrumentalist or an accomplished high school performer, you will discover new challenges to further your growth as a musician.

Summer camp participants stay in the Baylor residence halls and eat all meals in university dining halls. During the week, the camp staff oversees all activities. Musical and recreational activities are balanced to pique students' interests and provide them with sufficient leisure time. Participants will meet hundreds of students from around the state and the country, and they will participate in activities such as swimming, movies, and more. We are excited to provide the opportunity for students to live the college life for a week so they will be excited about attending at the end of their high school career.

If you enjoy musical challenges and desire to make new friends with similar interests, then the Baylor University Summer Music Camps have much to offer you. We sincerely hope that you will join us this summer for an exciting week of musical study and a lot of fun.
