Headshot of Islay Lyttle

A Go-Giver

Between ages 11-18, Islay Lyttle competed internationally in Scottish Highland dancing, performing across the U.S. and in Ireland, Scotland, and Argentina. Now at Baylor, she continues to be active in her community, building relationships and looking for opportunities to give back. In her free time, she loves to de-stress from her busy schedule by hiking in Cameron Park, working out, doing yoga, or road-tripping on the weekends with friends.

Islay is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and a leader in the Professional Development Program (PDP), an organization formed to support and equip students in their college-to-career transition. Through her involvement in PDP, Islay has gained confidence in networking with executives and honed skills in event planning and teamwork, turning every challenge into a learning experience that will benefit her in her future career

Growing up, Islay’s mother encouraged her to think about work as being a way to honor God. With this in mind, Islay views hard work as an act of gratitude for the opportunities she has been given and goes above and beyond in all she does. Exposed to the book, The Go-Giver, through the ProSales curriculum, Islay seeks to succeed by serving others and putting their interests above her own. She looks forward to being the type of businesswoman and salesperson who creates value though relationship building and authentic service.
