Graduating from Baylor University with a BS from the College of Arts & Sciences, Shirley Hunter found herself increasingly drawn to the business world. Accepting her first job as a Sales Rep at NCR Corporation, she quickly advanced to Regional Director. She spent the next 3 years with NCR and then Teradata gaining extensive experience in sales, leadership, and strategy. Before transitioning to Oracle in 2016, Shirley was responsible for Teradata’s Global Partnerships, where business grew over 400% during her tenure.

Today, Shirley is Oracle’s Regional Vice President leading the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team serving Oracle’s global and regional ISV partners in the Central and Southern U.S. In this role, she and her team provide comprehensive software and cloud application solutions and strategies and business transformation. Working with their ISV partners and widespread network, the team works on collaborative go-to-market plans, sales strategy, alignment, and execution. Shirley’s success in this role is evidenced by the exceeding growth of her region above that of other America’s teams.

Alongside her role as member of the Advisory Board for ProSales, Shirley serves on the Advisory Board for the College of Arts and Sciences at Baylor. She is a passionate supporter of the Baylor Bears and enjoys following the various sports teams along with her husband, Steve..
