Baylor Online MBA Program Lauded with High Rankings

Baylor University’s Online MBA Program ranked high in multiple categories in the Online MBA Report 2017 standings.

Baylor’s program was in the top 7 percent of schools considered for the “Top 25 Private Online MBA Programs in the U.S.,” coming in at No. 13. The program also ranked No. 7 in the “Top 10 Online MBA Programs in the Southwest,” and No. 4 in “Top 10 Faith-Based Online MBA Programs.”

“This is great news for our graduate business program,” said Timothy Kayworth, associate dean of Baylor’s Graduate Business Programs. “This recognition can be attributed to our experienced Baylor MBA faculty who deliver content relevant to managing in today’s complex business environment.”

According to the Online MBA Report website, “Besides an accelerated pace and a challenging curriculum, the Baylor Online MBA has dedicated career management resources and a powerful alumni network to help students identify employment objectives and opportunities.”

“We are excited about our new rankings for the Baylor MBA,” said Mary Reinhardt, associate director of the program. “Working professionals from more than 27 states are currently pursuing their Baylor MBA as geographical barriers are removed in the Online MBA program. The same great Baylor faculty are teaching in the online format and delivering an ethical and faith based MBA curriculum that allows working professionals and their employers to benefit immediately in the workplace. We look forward to continued growth for Baylor and the Baylor MBA network.”

Kayworth added, “Coming from a diverse spectrum of industries and functional specializations, our working MBA students can take what they learn in class and apply these principles immediately to benefit their workplace and to enhance their career prospects. We look to build upon this success by continuing to provide academic rigor and relevance in a faith-based setting and to investigate additional course offerings and electives that will make our student’s more competitive in today’s digital world.”

Online MBA Report evaluated over 300 US-based online MBA programs for their rankings and gathered their information through school surveys, school websites, and reputable publications. The criteria used was based on academic reputation of the program, value in relation to tuition, enrollment numbers, admissions selectivity, and program quality and rigor.
