Baylor Business Review Magazine App Named Finalist in MediaPost's Appy Awards

An iPad app published by Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business is one of three category finalists in the annual Appy Awards, sponsored by MediaPost’s OMMA magazine of online media, marketing and advertising. Winners will be announced March 8, 2013 during an OMMA event at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas.

In the Business Media App category, Baylor Business Review contends with well-known Bloomberg by Bloomberg and Smart Enterprise Magazine App by CA Technology.

The annual Appy Awards are dedicated to acknowledging creativity and excellence in app design.

As described on the website, “The Appys honor extraordinary Applications on all platforms: mobile, social and web-based. The Appy Awards are unbiased to App's format, platform or device; instead we focus on the best apps in a diverse range of categories, from Games and News, to Health and Fitness, Social Networking, Photography and many others.”

OMMA magazine broadens the focus to beyond just media to include all online marketing. OMMA reports on the latest e-marketing solutions, wireless technology, ad management solutions and portals and everything interactive. It serves thousands of online advertising professionals from agencies to publishers to marketing leaders of brands of all sizes.
