Students will have the opportunity to focus on the industry, companies and specific jobs that they want to pursue.

Priority is placed on securing a meaningful internship experience and positioning each student for the best possible employment opportunity. The career management courses assist in building and refining leadership and communication skills that will help students create differentiation among themselves and other applicants for jobs that they're interested in pursuing. Topics covered include the following:

  • Job Market Trends and Industry Analysis
  • Career Discovery
  • How to Develop Emotional Intelligence
  • Networking assistance
  • Developing a Personal Brand
  • Alumni Career Panels with industry experts
  • Job interview skills training

*Not required of Healthcare specialization, PCT, or dual-degree students.

MBA Leadership Summit

Traditionally, MBA students participate in an educational experience as part of their career development courses. Our Full-Time MBA students participate in a week-long leadership development opportunity in New York City. Faculty from various disciplines travel with students, challenging them to maximize the opportunity to get the most out of the experience. The interaction between students and faculty outside the classroom strengthens the educational journey at Baylor.
