What are your hobbies/passions?
Although I have played soccer all my life, including playing at Trinity, I have many hobbies. Some of those include indoor cycling and running Spartan races with my friends. I love to stay active in any way I can. However, one of my greatest passions is getting to volunteer in high school ministries like Young Life and K-Life. Having the opportunity to hang out with and disciple kids is such a rewarding experience, especially when you’re dealing with the hustle and bustle of college life.
What was the transition process like for you moving to Waco and then starting the program?
The transition was seamless. I was able to move all of my stuff up from San Antonio and store it for the summer. Getting around Waco is quite easy to figure out, so it was not difficult to find my way within in a couple days of moving in. Chelsea Derry and Scot Sanders were incredibly helpful even after the admissions process and answered my insane amount of emails on the move in process and what I needed to complete before being on campus.
Our week of orientation provided opportunities to become familiar with the professors, our admissions and career management teams, as well as the others in the program. By the end of the week, everyone in the program was beginning to establish relationships that have only grown stronger as the program has begun.
